1. Combined Liability: Client and the Cardmember are jointly liable for all charges incurred by the Cardmember (except cash advances which are Full Corporate Liability). The client is responsible for reimbursing Cardmembers for business expenses. The client will not be liable for charges incurred by the Cardmember that are personal in nature and which do not benefit the client for legitimate business purposes, or for which company as reimbursed the Cardmember. Full Corporate Liability: Available only for central billing and/or cash advance programs. With Full Corporate Liability, the client is liable for payment of all charges. American Express will bill the client directly for charges.
2. Cardmember Online Services - MYCA: All Corporate Card accounts are eligible to enroll in Manage Your Card Account. Use of Pay by PC and Expense Report Services is subject to your company practices and policies.
3. Global Assist® Hotline: You must arrange all medical and visitor transportation. As Global Assist Hotline is an assistance service, we cannot reimburse you for expenses you incur on your own.
4. Concierge Service: There is typically no cost to you for most efforts Concierge consultants perform on your behalf, although you are responsible for any purchases and/or shipping charges you authorize. Fees may apply for meetings and event planning.
5. Roadside Assistance: Services are provided as an emergency and not a general maintenance type service. Coverage will be provided only for private passenger vehicles and trucks with a towing capacity of 2 tons. Towing to the nearest authorized facility, or, upon the Card member's request, to another location at a maximum towing distance of 10 miles with a maximum of $50 coverage. Fuel provided in emergency situations will be charged to the Card member's Card Account. Limit of four services per year. Emergency situations do not include: All parts, labor, and supplies provided while at a repair facility; towing to another location unless the initial service station is closed; service for unlicensed vehicles, taxicabs, tractors, boats, illegally parked or impounded vehicles, or any vehicle in tow; rental or towing equipment; towing at the direction of a law enforcement officer relating to traffic obstruction, abandonment, illegal parking, or other violations of law, or towing by other than a licensed service station or garage; repeated service calls for a vehicle in need of routine maintenance or repair; shoveling snow from around a vehicle; vehicle storage or impoundment charges. Only one disablement for the same cause during any seven-day period will be allowed. Service is provided in the 48 contiguous United States and Canada.
6. Business Travel Accident Insurance: Travel Accident Insurance is underwritten by AMEX Assurance Company, Administrative Office, Phoenix, AZ. Coverage is determined by the terms, conditions, and exclusions of Policy AX0948 and is subject to change with notice. This document does not supplement or replace the Policy.
7. Baggage Insurance Plan: American Express Card Baggage Insurance Plan is underwritten by AMEX Assurance Company, Administrative Office, Phoenix, AZ. Coverage is determined by the terms, conditions, and exclusions of Policy AX0400 or Policy BIP-IND and is subject to change with notice. This document does not supplement or replace the Policy.
8. Flexible Spending Privileges: Please note that some Corporate Cards may carry specific usage guidelines at the request of your company, or at the discretion of American Express.
9. Assured Reservations: If your plans change, call the hotel before 6pm (4pm at resorts) on the day of arrival or you will be billed for one night. Be sure to get a cancellation number for your records.
10. FINE HOTELS & RESORTS: Valid for new bookings made through American Express Travel. Payment must be made with an American Express Card in the U.S. Corporate Platinum Card member's name. Card member must travel on itinerary booked. Early check in and room upgrade based on availability. May not be combined with other offers unless indicated. Benefit restrictions vary by hotel and cannot be redeemed for cash. Limit one benefit package per room, per stay. Three room limit per Card member, per stay; back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at the same property considered one stay. Participating providers and benefits subject to change. 11. Platinum Dining® Reservations: Reservations are based on a first come, first serve basis. All cancellations must be made by calling a Platinum Dining representative at least 24 hours in advance of your reservations; otherwise, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of $15 per person ($60 minimum, $120 maximum).
12. Car Rental Privileges: Benefits given to Corporate Platinum Card® members are subject to each car rental company's terms and conditions, including age restrictions, and require enrollment to receive benefits. Corporate Platinum Card members must be affiliated with the Platinum Program codes. Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® is a registered trademark of Hertz System, Inc. Minimum rental age is 25 (exceptions apply). For Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, upgrades are subject to fleet availability at time of rental. Standard rental terms and conditions apply. Payment must be made using the Corporate Platinum Card from American Express. Corporate Platinum Card members are required to enroll in Avis Preferred Club and Hertz Gold Plus Rewards to become a member. National collects Frequent Flyer Tax Recoupment Surcharge to cover the federal tax on the cost of the miles awarded at the time of rental. Discount applies to base rate only. Taxes (including GST), other governmentally authorized or imposed surcharges, license recoupment/air tax recovery and concession recoupment fees, airport and airport facility fees, fuel, additional driver fee, one-way rental charge, and optional items are extra. Renter must meet standard age, driver, and credit requirements. Advance reservation required. May not be combined with other discounts. Availability is limited. Subject to change without notice. Blackout dates may apply. National's Emerald Club and its services require a signed Master Rental Agreement to be on file.
13. The Limousine Program: Valid for new bookings made through American Express Travel. To get triple points, you must charge your limousine to Membership Rewards program-enrolled American Express Card in U.S. Corporate Platinum Card member's name. Card member must travel on itinerary booked. Valid only with standard, non-discounted rates. Participating providers and benefits subject to change. Triple Membership Rewards bonus points will be credited to Card member's Membership Rewards account 10-12 weeks after completion of travel. 14. International Airline Program (IAP): International Airline Program: Companion ticket subject to government taxes/fees from $50 to $500 roundtrip, including September 11th Security fee of up to $10. Total charge for companion ticket may also reflect airline-imposed fuel surcharges of up to $800 roundtrip. Non-refundable American Express service fee of $39 (per ticket) applies to each purchase, itinerary change and refund. Ticket refunds for some participating airlines may require cancellation of reservation prior to scheduled departure. Companion ticket requires purchase of qualifying First- or Business-Class ticket through American Express Travel with an American Express Card issued in the U.S. Corporate Platinum Card member's name on a participating airline. Participating airlines include: Aer Lingus, AeroMexico, Air Canada, Air France, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Japan Airlines, Jet Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, LAN, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, South African Airways, Swiss International Air lines, Virgin Atlantic. Travel must originate in and return to U.S. gateway (excluding Puerto Rico and overseas territories) or select Canadian gateways. One-way travel permitted on some airlines where routing originates in U.S. Available service class (First or Business) determined by airline. Seat availability is limited. Card member and companion must travel on same itinerary. Limit one companion ticket per Card member traveling. Tickets are non-transferable or endorsable. Companion ticket must be returned/cancelled before full-fare ticket is refunded. Not combinable with any other promotion and may not be available on participating airline's code-share partners, i.e., flights marketed by the ticketing airline but operated by its partner airline. Airlines reserve right to modify fare rules/program participation prior to booking.
15. Airport Club Access: The Corporate Platinum Card® member must be traveling. Name on ticket must match name on Corporate Platinum Card. (Ticket not required for US Airways® Clubs.) The Corporate Platinum Card member must be 18 years of age to enter the Airport Club Lounge without a parent or guardian for American Airlines Admirals Club® lounges. For Delta Sky Club® lounges the member must be 18 where there is no self-service bar. The Corporate Platinum Card member must be 21 years of age to enter into all Airport Club Lounges where there is a self-service bar. Local age restrictions apply in non-U.S. locations. The Corporate Platinum Card member's spouse and children under the age of 21 or up to two companions may enter the club as complimentary guests. Codeshare and affiliated lounge agreements may not apply. Employee travel-related benefit tickets are not eligible with American Airlines. The Corporate Platinum Card member must present his or her valid Card, government-issued I.D., and same day airline ticket to club agents. (Ticket not required for US Airways Clubs.) Complimentary access is specifically for the airport club that corresponds to the airline operating the flight (access pertains to the aircraft, not the flight number) except for US Airways Clubs, or with respect to American Airlines marketed code share flights with an American Airlines flight number which are also eligible for complimentary access to the lounge. 16. Priority Pass™ Select: Corporate Platinum Card members may access participating Priority Pass lounges worldwide on a complimentary basis, provided that they complete the Priority Pass Select application form. The Corporate Platinum Card member must present his or her Priority Pass Select card to gain access to participating lounges. Corporate Platinum Card member must be 21 years of age to enter into the airport club lounge without a parent or guardian. Members must adhere to all house rules of participating clubs. Amenities may vary among airport club locations. Conference rooms may be reserved for a nominal fee. For a list of participating airport club locations visit www.prioritypass.com/select. Partners and locations subject to change. Corporate Platinum Card members' accompanying guests may access participating lounges for a $27 fee, which will automatically be charged to the Corporate Platinum Card.
17. Gogo®: Corporate Platinum Card members can receive 10 (ten) free sessions (as described below) each calendar year. The Corporate Platinum Card member must pay for the session with the Corporate Platinum Card from American Express, and American Express will issue a credit for such purchase within 4 to 6 weeks of the relevant billing cycle close. A session means any Gogo Flight Pass (a single flight up to 1.5 hrs, single flight between 1.5-3hrs, single flight over 3hrs, and the 24 hour Gogo pass valid for 24 hours on Gogo equipped airplanes). For further description of the Gogo services and terms and conditions, please visit gogoair.com. Offer subject to change or cancellation at any time. American Express may receive a referral fee for the services promoted herein.
18. Global Entry: Global Entry is a U.S. government program. American Express has no control over the application and/or approval process, and does not have access to any information provided to the government by the Corporate Platinum Card member. American Express has no liability regarding the Global Entry Program. If you need more information regarding the application and/or approval process, as well as the full terms and conditions of this program, please go to www.globalentry.gov. The benefit is available to Corporate Platinum Card members only. To receive a $100 statement credit, the Corporate Platinum Card member must complete the Global Entry application and pay for the fee with a valid Corporate Platinum Card. If approved, membership into the Global Entry program is valid for 5 years without additional charges and subject to the Global Entry program's terms and conditions. The $100 application fee must be paid regardless of the decision by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and is required to process the application. Membership is per person, and a separate application must be completed for each individual. Please allow 6-8 weeks after the qualifying Global Entry transaction is charged to your Corporate Platinum Card account for statement credit to be posted to the account. The Corporate Platinum Card member is responsible for payment of all charges until the statement credit posts to the respective account. To be eligible for this benefit, the respective Corporate Platinum Card account must be active and in good standing at the time of statement credit fulfillment.
19. The Membership Rewards program: Enrollment required. The annual program fee to enroll a Corporate Card is $90. The annual fee to enroll a Global Dollar Card Corporate Card is $75. Some Corporate Cards are not eligible for enrollment. Participating Membership Rewards partners, available rewards, and point levels are subject to change without notice. Eligibility is based upon company's participation in the Membership Rewards program. Terms and conditions of the Membership Rewards program apply; see membershiprewards.com/terms for details.
20. Savings at Work program: Pursuant to the Savings at Work ("SAW") Program, eligible, active, mid-size corporate clients of American Express can receive an end-of-year rebate on qualifying purchases made with the American Express card at participating SAW partners. Terms, conditions and restrictions apply. For more information, visit www.savingsatwork.com to get a copy of the complete SAW terms and conditions or consult your Program Administrator ("PA"). If you are a PA, please call 888-AXP-4444 (888-297-4444) for eligibility and restrictions.
21. Travel Rewards for Employees: American Airlines Gift Card for Employees: Cardmembers will accrue an American Airlines Gift Card valued at $50 for every $5,000 of Eligible Charges on the Card, provided that in addition to the Client company requirements to provide the Travel Manager's American Airlines AAdvantage® number, the Cardmember has provided his/her e-mail address. Following satisfaction of this requirement, Gift Cards will be distributed quarterly through e-mail only. Cardmembers are limited to accruing up to $1,000 in Gift Cards in any calendar year. Cardmembers must go to americanexpress.com/register to review and confirm that the e-mail address listed is correct. Charges on BTA, CRBTA or ABA Accounts are not eligible to earn the Gift Card. Please refer to https://giftcards.aa.com/terms.jsp for the terms and conditions governing use of the Gift Card.
22. American Express / Business ExtrAA Rebate: Rebate is earned on base published flown airfare only (does not include taxes, discounts, surcharges and fees) and is sent quarterly to clients via electronic funds transfer or checks. Passengers must fly in order to earn rebate. To qualify, flights taken must be both marketed and operated by American Airlines, American Eagle® or an AmericanConnection® carrier (code share flights do not apply) and for which American Airlines appears as the merchant of record on the Cardmember billing statement. Clients are eligible to earn rebates only on the first $1,000,000 of such eligible flown revenue in a calendar year and purchased using the American Express / Business ExtrAA Corporate Card (the "Card"). Rebate will be 4% if company does not have an American Airlines® negotiated discount program and does not book travel through the American Express® Mid-Market Direct travel agency program. Rebate will be 1% if company has an American Airlines® negotiated discount program or books travel through the American Express® Mid-Market Direct travel agency program
23. Business ExtrAA Points: All American Express / Business ExtrAA Corporate Card accounts begin to accrue benefits in the Business ExtrAA program in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable for Business ExtrAA, which appear at: https://www.businessextraa.com/. In addition to enrollment, accounts must provide Travel Manager's American Airlines AAdvantage® number to use the benefits of the Business ExtrAA program. Clients will receive points on all Eligible Charges. "Eligible Charges" means all spend on the Card, excluding such things as cash advances, fees, American Express Corporate Travelers Cheque encashment, fraudulent charges, and delinquency assessments.
